Olivier David

Olivier David is a full Professor of Geography, and the President of Rennes 2 University. He is a member of the research laboratory « Espaces et Sociétés » (UMR CNRS 6590 ESO). His research focuses on demographic dynamics and spatial dynamics, services to people and spatial planning, social and educational policies, spatial inequalities, childhood and youth. Olivier David has participated in several research programs concerning educational inequalities and youth policies. He coordinated the project INEDUC, between 2012 and 2015, funded by the National Research Agency. He wrote his « Habilitation à Diriger des Recherches » thesis (HDR) in 2010, entitled « The leisure time of children and young people in territorial contexts ».
