Gérard Boudesseul

Gérard Boudesseul is a lecturer at the ESPE Education and Teacher Training School – Université de Caen Normandie, and a researcher at the Céreq-ESO Caen. His main subjects of study are related to school dropouts and the territorial inequalities of this phenomenon, insertion of youngsters out of the educational system, life pathways and turning points.

From January 2012 till October 2015, the Agence Nationale de la Recherche (a French agency of research) financed a program called INEDUC, which dealt with young people (11-15 years old), their educational disparities and the construction of their pathways in their living spaces.
