Thibault Carcano

Thibault Carcano is a PhD student in geography and urban planning at the Médiations laboratory (Sorbonne Université). His thesis is a continuation of the urban and architectural studies he conducted at Sciences Po and ENSA Paris-Belleville. By studying (im)mobilities and (inter)actions in the not-quite-public spaces that are railway stations, he seeks to understand the essence of the city: urbanity. His research is accompanied by a reflection on the terms and tools one can use to describe the world.
