Susanne Berthier-Foglar

Susanne Berthier-Foglar is Professor in the Foreign Language Department of Stendhal University in Grenoble (France), where she teaches American civilization. She is a member of the research group ILCEA4 – CEMRA, of the American Indian Workshop and the Working Group on Indigenous Populations (WGIP). Her research focuses on territorial politics in matters of resource use and indigenous claims, with a special focus on the west of the United States.
