Franck Barbin is an Associate Professor in translation studies at Rennes 2 University and is in charge of the first year of the Master’s “Translation-localization and multilingual and multimedia communication professions”. Member of the research unit LIDILE EA 3874 (linguistics and language teaching), his research revolves around cross-cultural translation, sense making, and translating humanities and social sciences. His research activity is based on his experience as a freelance translator, more especially in psychology and management.
