Boris Mericskay is Associate professor in geography at University Rennes 2 and member of ESO lab (Spaces and Societies). His research focuses on the interactions between geospatial technologies, spaces and societies and focuses more specifically on spatial data and its uses as socio-technical objects. Co-leader of the Master in Geomatics SIGAT, the approaches developed in his works combine both epistemological and conceptual insights on data and methodological and technical approaches around spatial analysis and Webmapping.
